I dont think a female who was raped (a violent crime) should be forced to carry the product of that violence in her body for nine months while also dealing with a society which may now devalue her personal worth and question her honour through no fault of her own.

well, there’s something called the morning after pill. a raped women does not need to wait until the baby is several weeks old and developed at which point she would be killing a human being.

Well that’s one of those big questions, is the life of that potential human still valid even though it was created without the women’s consent. In a way, I’d say she could still give it up for adoption, but that’d still mean going through pregnancy.

Personally I think with the rate at which technology is advancing there will be a way to save the woman from having to go through pregnancy yet still preserve the life of the child.
